Dan’s Superior Auto Service is a STAR Licensed Test and Repair Station. Authorized by the Bureau of Automotive Repair, STAR stations are Smog Check stations that meet the highest performance measures. There are only a few stations across California that do both testing and repairing of any car component responsible for increasing emissions. This is to make sure we’re taking precautions on reducing our carbon footprint to improve the pollution levels. State law mandates that older vehicles have their Smog Check Inspections performed at a STAR station every two years.

During the Smog Test, our licensed mechanics will configure the testing equipment with your vehicle to our device. They are all associated with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). If the vehicle passes the assessment, the vehicle profile and test results are electronically sent to the DMV. Dan’s Superior will provide you with a receipt and a copy of the test results, known as a Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR). If repairs are needed for your car, truck, RV, or motor home, we provide full-service repairs to get your vechile to pass.
